Classes for children ages 3 through 5th grade are led by caring, loving men and women dedicated to the spiritual formation of young people. Our Sunday School is designed to help children build a stronger relationship with Christ by learning about God and His will for them. But, families - parents in particular - must also invest in the moral and spiritual growth of their children with great care and conscientiousness. Parents are asked to walk their children to their classrooms every Sunday to sign them in and to return after the lesson hour to pick them up. Let your child see you in worship, Bible study and prayer.
Also, please consider volunteering in your child's classroom or to teach other CUMC children. This is where life-long faith starts - by your example. It's also an opportunity to change the life of a young person. To volunteer in classrooms beginning in September, click on Fall Sunday School Teacher . Questions may be directed to our Director of Children's Ministry, Catherine Neal (969-8820, x208; ).
As we kick off a new Sunday School season, please register your children for class. If we have current contact information on file, just double check it on the Sunday School attendance sheets. If your child is new to our program, please register him/her by using the online form available here.
